Quality is an important force leading to organizational success and company growth in the
world markets. In modern management, quality can be defined as the entire collection of
activities through which we achieve fitness for use no matter where these activities are
performed. Defined in the expression “conformance to requirements”, quality is a customer’s
determination. It is based on the customer’s experience with the product, measured against
the requirements, and always represents a moving target in a competitive market.
A & K Nuts (K) Ltd strictly adheres to quality standards at all processing stages. The
company has developed a well-defined quality assurance program that specifies the systematic
procedures to be carried out in the entire process, from growing to packaging to
distribution. Various measures have been put in place to limit the levels of cross-contact
and contamination of food samples. Employees are encouraged to maintain adequate personal
hygiene. Employees that show any signs of illness are excused from operations to prevent
contamination until they are back in shape.
Qualified individuals have been assigned the task of occasional testing and sampling the
nuts in the production process to enhance the quality of our final product. Additionally,
regular inspections and maintenance are performed on the company’s equipment. Further,
qualified personnel inspect our documentation monthly and correct any deficiencies in any
Food Safety Management Systems in a reasonable timeframe.
